Kiwi Sport | Cricket #1

Today we had a lesson with Brian who is a cricket coach from Howick Pakuranga Cricket Club (HPPC). We were separated into two groups and had warm ups which were batting and bowling. My team first went to the bowling side. Brian made teams of 3-4 people and he explained what we needed to do. The first person in line stood behind the wickets and caught the ball when someone hit the wickets. If you hit the wicket you put one cone on the wicket from the four cones. The first team to put all the cones on is the winner. After that we went to the next side which was batting. All the batters hit the balls then the fielders ran after the ball. Everyone had a turn each at batting. The skills we used for today was batting, fielding, bowling, scoring, teamwork and communication.
