LI: To learn about the Charge of the Light Brigade

This week we learnt about the poem called the Light Brigade. We unpacked the poem bit by bit to understand the meaning behind the poem. The author of this poem is Alfred Lord Tennyson. The story behind this poem is about the light brigade riding the valley of death and then trying to retrieve the guns that were stolen.They came back failing the mission, and coming out with nothing. 600 men went in less than one third came back (less that 200). Something that we enjoyed was unpacking the poem story bit by bit because we got to learn something new.
